A long time resident of the San Diego coastal area, Celestte is a self taught artist who paints for the pure pleasure of it. Celestte creates emotional abstract paintings without pretense or affectation. Inspired spontaneously by the color, technique, and emotion of the moment, her work evokes strong feelings and inspires the viewer through the visceral display of emotional intensity and the simple delight of bright color, energy, and form. About her paintings, reviewers have said "There is an undeniable rhythm and impact in every piece," and "This art is meant to be felt."

Celestte's work has been featured internationally and is currently showing in San Diego and San Francisco in a variety of group and solo shows. She has been displayed at Off Track, Bayshore Studios, Artwork SF, 101 Art Colony, Triton Mezzanine, Polarity Post Productions, and SOMA Arts Cultural Center galleries, among others and is a member of the 101 Artist Colony in San Diego and Artwork SF in San Francisco.

Celestte is a member of the Oceanside Museum of Art and affiliated with the OMA Artist's Alliance.
